Visit Our Jacksonville Rug Gallery This Holiday Season: What to Expect

by | Jacksonville Best Rugs, Rug Studio, Rugs Jacksonville

Shopping for a rug online can feel like guessing. Shopping in a real rug gallery is a completely different experience. You can walk on the rugs, compare sizes side by side, and get honest advice from people who have spent their lives in the rug business. If you’re planning a visit to Michael’s Rug Studio this holiday season, here’s what to expect.

Where We Are and When We’re Open

Our showroom is at 7119 Bentley Road, Jacksonville, FL 32256, near I-95 and J. Turner Butler Boulevard. It’s an easy drive from Mandarin, San Marco, the Beaches, Ponte Vedra Beach, St. Augustine, Orange Park, and Fleming Island.

Hours: Monday–Friday 9am–5pm, Saturday 9am–3pm, closed Sunday.

What You’ll Find in the Gallery

  • Traditional rugs, including hand-knotted Persian, Oriental, Serapi, and Oushak designs.
  • Transitional rugs that blend classic patterns with updated colors.
  • Contemporary rugs with modern and abstract designs.
  • Runners and accent rugs for hallways, entries, and kitchens.
  • Large room-size rugs for living rooms, dining rooms, and great rooms.

Expert Guidance From a Rug Family Since 1897

Michael’s Rug Studio is part of a Jacksonville rug family whose roots go back to 1897. We can tell you how a rug was made, what it’s made of, how it will wear, and how to care for it. You’ll get straight answers, not a sales pitch.

How to Make the Most of Your Visit

  1. Bring measurements. Note the room size and where the furniture sits.
  2. Bring photos. Pictures of the room, your sofa, and your floors help us suggest colors that work.
  3. Bring a swatch. A pillow, paint chip, or fabric sample is very helpful for color matching.
  4. Know how you live. Tell us about kids, pets, and traffic so we can recommend durable options.
  5. Book ahead if you can. A free consultation lets us pull rugs for you before you arrive, which is especially helpful during the busy holiday season.

Custom Rugs and Delivery

If you can’t find the exact size or color you need, ask about custom rugs woven to order. Once you’ve found your rug, we deliver throughout Jacksonville and Northeast Florida, within about a 50 to 60 mile radius of the showroom.
