Rugs for Ponte Vedra Beach Homes

Coastal homes in Ponte Vedra Beach look beautiful with soft, light-filled palettes. Ivory and blue Oushak-style rugs, natural tones and transitional designs suit them especially well. More formal living and dining rooms shine with the rich color of hand-knotted Oriental and Persian rugs. Hand-knotted wool is the best all-around choice near the ocean. It handles humidity and sand well and cleans up beautifully.

Getting to Our Showroom from Ponte Vedra Beach

Ponte Vedra Beach is one of the easiest trips to our showroom. From A1A, head west on J. Turner Butler Boulevard (SR-202) and stay on it until you approach the I-95 interchange — 7119 Bentley Road is just off JTB on that side of town, so the whole run is essentially one straight shot with no surface streets to navigate. From Nocatee, take Nocatee Parkway west to US-1 north, then JTB east-to-west as above, or cut over to I-95 north and exit at JTB. If you are coming up from Sawgrass or the south end of A1A, you will reach JTB at the Butler Beach end and follow it inland. We are open Monday through Friday 9 to 5 and Saturday 9 to 3, closed Sunday.

Ponte Vedra Beach Neighborhoods We Serve

Our customers come from Old Ponte Vedra and the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club area, Sawgrass Country Club and Sawgrass Players Club, Marsh Landing, The Plantation at Ponte Vedra, Oak Bridge, Sawmill Lakes, Odom’s Mill, Seven Mile, Palmera, Pablo Creek and the fast-growing Nocatee communities just to the south, including Del Webb, Twenty Mile and Greenleaf.

Home Styles in Ponte Vedra Beach and the Rugs That Suit Them

Three broad looks dominate here. Oceanfront and lagoon-front homes along A1A trend architectural and light-filled — pale floors, glass walls, minimal trim — and they are best served by a contemporary rug that works as texture rather than pattern: tonal weaves, quiet geometrics, or a plain ground in sand, ivory or oyster that lets the view stay the subject. The club communities of Sawgrass and Marsh Landing lean Mediterranean and Spanish Revival, with tile roofs, arched openings and formal living and dining rooms that can carry more ornament, where a transitional rug hits the balance most homeowners want: a classic layout softened in scale and color so it does not fight the lighter Florida palette. Newer Nocatee construction borrows from Low Country and coastal farmhouse design, with shiplap, open plans and generous great rooms that almost always need a larger rug than people expect. Before you shop, it is worth reading what size area rug you need so you arrive with the right dimensions in hand.
