Rugs for Fleming Island Homes
Fleming Island homes often feature open floor plans and riverfront light. Large room-size rugs help define living and dining areas, and transitional designs blend classic pattern with soft, updated color. For a timeless look, explore our hand-knotted Oriental and Persian rugs.
Delivery to Fleming Island
We deliver to Fleming Island, Green Cove Springs and throughout Clay County as part of our service area across Northeast Florida.
Getting to Our Showroom from Fleming Island
From Fleming Island, take US-17 north through Orange Park to I-295 east, cross the St. Johns River on the Buckman Bridge, follow I-295 around to I-95 north, and exit east onto J. Turner Butler Boulevard (SR-202). Bentley Road is just off JTB near the I-95 interchange. Drivers on the west side of the island often find it quicker to pick up SR-21 (Blanding Boulevard) north and join I-295 from there. From Green Cove Springs, US-17 north is the same route with a few extra miles at the start. It is a straightforward highway run once you are across the bridge. We are open Monday through Friday 9 to 5 and Saturday 9 to 3, and closed Sunday; coming outside the morning and evening Buckman rush makes the trip noticeably easier.
Fleming Island Neighborhoods We Serve
We deliver to and work with homeowners in Eagle Harbor, Pace Island, Hibernia, Margaret’s Walk, Thunderbolt, Harbor Island, Raggedy Point, the Villages of Fleming Island, Black Creek and nearby Lake Asbury and Green Cove Springs.
Home Styles on Fleming Island and the Rugs That Suit Them
Fleming Island was largely built out from the 1990s onward, and it shows in the floor plans: two-story homes with two-story entries, great rooms that run straight into the kitchen, and formal dining rooms that still get used. Many homes back onto the Eagle Harbor golf course or sit on the river in Pace Island and Hibernia, so the rooms carry a lot of natural light and the sliding-door walls stay open to the water. That combination — big volume, bright light, soft contemporary paint colors, but traditional millwork and furniture — is exactly where a transitional rug earns its keep: a recognizable classic layout rendered in lighter grounds and quieter color so the pattern supports the furniture without overpowering a sunlit room. In the formal dining room, where the rug needs to carry the table and chairs and hold its own under a chandelier, a hand-knotted Oriental or Persian rug is still the piece people keep for decades. Two-story entries and long upstairs hallways are also the spots most often left bare, and a well-chosen runner or small accent rug makes a disproportionate difference there. If you are unsure what your great room can take, send us your room dimensions and we will pull options before you arrive.
